The Red House, Aldeburgh

The Red House, home of international composer Benjamin Britten and singer Peter Pears remains as they left it. The learning service help visiting children and young people to view the house with understanding and also appreciate music, a rare asset.  Fulfilling the Music National Curriculum as well as Maths and Science, the additional emphasis on Literacy and storytelling is enthralling.  A magnificent archive, a museum of memorabilia, an extensive library and a beautiful garden are part of the visit. The children leave enriched and with increased knowledge.
