The Museum of East Dorset has achieved another Sandford award. The assessment highlighted the museum's dedication to providing engaging and enriching educational experiences. The assessor was particularly impressed by the dedication of several experienced volunteers. In all sessions, the long history of the building and the extensive collections, were utilised to inspire children to discover the stories of the past that the museum holds, to make learning fun, active and memorable. The Museum of East Dorset's ongoing efforts to enhance its offerings and engage young minds serve as a commendable endeavour in fostering historical understanding and exploration.
